Solution
Automated Parcel Induction
Plus One Robotics' automated induction solutions optimize the picking and placing of mixed parcels, polybags, and other items from a bulk area onto a sorter or AMR.
Applications
Flexible Induction for Any Sorter Type
As e-commerce continues to thrive globally, the demand for reliable parcel induction solutions is high. Our solution leverages 1 billion picks of production experience for high-volume processing.
InductOne: Turnkey Solution

Intelligent Induction at Scale
Intelligent Grip Strategy
Classifies items by package type to dynamically adjust grip strategy, acceleration, and speed.
Motion Detection
Re-triggers pick requests until items are in a stable position for quality picks.
Place Verification
Verifies parcel placement within positional and angle tolerance. Returns major/minor axis dimensions.
Empty Pick Zone Detection
When the pick zone is empty, signals the system to index more parcels automatically.
Double Recovery
If more than one parcel was placed, signals the robot to recover the error or route to exception path.
Scan in Flight
Automatically manipulates parcels to accommodate barcode systems or label-up requirements.
Machine Learning
With the industry's largest real-image library from 1 Billion+ picks, systems continually improve.
Business Intelligence
Visualizes system performance to provide key insights for operational decision-making.
Real-Time Exception Handling
Yonder enables remote supervision that keeps operations running, minimizing downtime.
Robot Agnostic
Compatible with any major hardware OEM for maximum deployment flexibility.
Process
How AI-Automated Induction Works
Parcels arrive in a chute or on a conveyor and are imaged by the PickOne Perception Kit.
Using 2D, 3D, and AI algorithms, PickOne identifies each pickable item and assigns a confidence score.
PickOne sends the robot controller an array of locations and data for each pickable item via API.
For low-confidence items: PickOne issues a shuffle command or generates a Yonder request to a remote Crew Chief.
Yonder stores the Crew Chief's response, enabling machine-learning algorithms to improve the system.
Upon placement, the Perception Kit images the place zone. If it detects an out-of-spec parcel or double, the robot resolves the issue.
